They include a super-duty scrubbing section, similar to an industrial-strength washing machine, which thoroughly cleans rocks and breaks down clay before sending your material to the classification rotating barrel. A standard two-inch lip and an adjustable ring system allow users to increase retention time within the scrubbing unit to fully clean even the densest clay. Increasing or decreasing the speed at which you feed the raw material into the trommel wash plant will increase or decrease the amount of time the material spends in the scrubbing section as well. Many other machines don't break down the clay, sending it into the sluice box, taking with it the gold in the clay as well as the gold already captured in your sluice box which can stick to the passing clay pieces.
